Emmy and Edward R. Murrow Award winning reporter Shane McAuliffe created and hosts The Texas Bucket List TV Show. For the past decade, he’s worked at TV stations across the state. Staying in Texas was Shane’s main goal and he got his start in broadcasting in Abilene. From there he went on to TV stations in Corpus Christi, Austin, and Bryan/College Station.

In 2008 Shane started a multi Lone Star Emmy nominated series called The Brazos Valley Bucket List on KBTX in Bryan/College Station. On the series, Shane showcased everything the Brazos Valley had to offer. From interesting eateries, hidden hideaways, to magical museums there truly is a plethora of things to see and do around Aggieland and those stories became the talk of the town.

After several years, Shane realized that with such an incredible response from viewers, surely the show would be a success statewide.  In 2011, Shane decided to take the Brazos Valley Bucket List to the next level and started work on The Texas Bucket List.

Shane has been recognized and awarded with numerous television broadcast excellence awards including a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award, the Lone Star Emmy Award, the Barbara Jordan Media Award, multiple Texas Association of Press Broadcasters awards, and several Telly Awards.
